The restaurant on the ground floor is the heart of the hotel - a warm room of timber, greenery and soft light where guests and locals alike sit down to well-cooked Montenegrin food.
The kitchen works with local produce and traditional recipes, serving grilled meats, fresh salads, soups and daily specials in generous portions. Everything is prepared to order, and the staff are happy to advise on what to try and which regional wine goes with it. The bar pours Montenegrin wines, rakija, local beer, coffee and soft drinks until late.
Breakfast is a special part of the experience. Instead of a standard buffet you order from a menu and your plate arrives freshly cooked, whether you prefer eggs, cheese and cured meats, pastries or something lighter before the road. It is a calm, unhurried way to start the day before continuing your journey or exploring Berane.
If you would rather stay upstairs, breakfast and meals can be brought to your room, and room service is available throughout the day. The restaurant is a comfortable place to work, read or simply linger over a drink after a long drive.
